Witham: Gardeners and business scoop medals in In Bloom competition
Gardeners and businesses have been awarded for their floral displays in this year’s Witham in Bloom Community and Business Awards.
The Olympian-style awards ceremony, which was attended by more than 100 guests, was held at The Royal British Legion Memorial Hall in Newland Street, Witham, on Saturday.
Several picked up numerous prizes, including Genevive and Mark Hurrell, of Maltings Lane, who won The Braintree and Witham Times trophy, which was presented by Witham Mayor Michael Lager.
