Witham: Coffee morning for cancer charity
A bank will be serving their customers cakes and cuppas to raise money for a cancer charity.
Barclays, in Newland Street, Witham, is hosting a coffee morning on Friday for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Employees will be on hand to serve refreshments from 9am to 12.30pm, with the aim of raising £1,000.
Branch manager Rachael Sayer said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee morning again this year. It was a huge success last year.”
Witham MP, Priti Patel , who will be attending to show her support, said: “This is an excellent cause to support and a fun way to raise money.”
