Pupils whose boarding house was burnt down in a devastating fire are said to be delighted with their semi-permanent new home.

Follyfield House, which provided accommodation to about 60 girls who attend Felsted School, in Felsted, near Dunmow, was destroyed in a fire on July 15.

A semi-permanent house was built in just six weeks and thanks to a community effort, all of the beds, bedroom furniture and linens have been replaced.
