Witham: Teenager sets up Facebook page to build support network for illness
A kind-hearted teenager who suffers from a rare medical condition has set up a Facebook page to build a support network for other sufferers.
Bethanie Thorn from Broomfield, Silver End, was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) two years ago and suffers with digestive, heart and mobility problems.
The Facebook page ‘Bethanie's Battle’ will act as a support network for the 16-year-old and fellow sufferers, as well as help to raise awareness of her condition.
