Asda gets a warm reception from families near Freeport
Families living close to where Asda wants to set up shop have welcomed the retailer’s plans.
The retail giant is working with Freeport Braintree to build a 30,000sq ft supermarket and petrol station on vacant land next to the outlet shopping village in Millennium Way.
For those residents living near the Heathlands estate, it will mean they can avoid driving out of town for their shopping.
