Braintree: Helicopter called out to reports of youths with firearm
A police helicopter was sent out following reports of youths seen with a suspected firearm.
An Essex Police spokesman said police were called to Lanham Farm Road, Cressing, just after 4.20pm yesterday.
She said a woman reported seeing youths with what she believed was a firearm.
Police carried out a search and stopped and questioned various groups of teenagers in the area.
However, nothing was found.
