Braintree: School closed following power cut
A school was shut for a short time this morning following a power cut.
Parents and pupils arriving at Notley Green Primary School were turned away after large parts of Great Notley lost power.
However electricity was restored to the area by around 9.20am.
Teachers sent out text message to parents inviting parents to bring their children in.
Angie Jones, the school’s business manager said most children were back in class by around 9.45am.
