A sub-postmaster is warning that post offices could close if the company fails to win a £60million DVLA contract.
Jake Singh, manager of post offices in New Street, Braintree, said it would be a “massive blow” to the network of post offices if the contract was awarded elsewhere.
The situation has come about after the Department for Transport put the DVLA contract for the next financial year out to tender, which will be decided next month.
