Braintree: Armed raiders target home
Masked raiders smashed their way in to a home armed with screwdrivers.
Three burglars targeted a flat in St James Road in Braintree at around 12.15am on Monday.
The trio, who had their faces covered with balaclavas, took an XBox games console, money, keys and a wallet.
The police helicopter and ground teams were deployed to search the area.
But they did not find anyone.
Officers are urging anyone with information to contact Braintree police station on 101.
