Braintree: Firefighters tackling house fire
Three fire engines were sent to tackle a house fire in Braintree.
Emergency services were alerted to the detached home at 12.20pm, in Church Lane, after a passing motorcyclist spotted a fire in the roof.
Crews reported that the roof of the house, which is owned by local dentist Raghuvir Patel, was completely alight.
Two fire engines sent from Braintree and another from Halstead put it out by about 1.30pm.
