A partner is being sought to help run the historic Cressing Temple.

Essex County Council said the visitor attraction, which also hosts weddings, conferences and fayres, was “not achieving its full potential” compared to similar venues.

The council is now looking for a partner or concession to work alongside it to run Cressing Temple.

Cabinet member for culture, Jeremy Lucas, said: “The intention at all times is to secure the future of our parks and the provision of a positive visitor experience.”
