Braintree: Museum takes part in Heritage Open Days

Braintree District Museum is offering visitors a chance to find out more about the town's heritage.

Today there is a tour of Braintree Town Hall at 2pm plus free entry to the museum and Warner Textile Archive.

Tomorrow is the launch of the redisplayed Crittall Gallery, with a a rare chance to see the 1920s ‘Old Iron’ portraits from 10am to 4pm. There will also be a free ‘Wacky Windows’ craft session for young children 10am to 1pm.

The museum is in Manor Street and the archive is in Silks Way.
