Flashback to the 1940s
Help is needed to organise a 1940s fashion show for charity.
The Hawthorns retirement complex in Tortoiseshell Way, Braintree, is hosting a themed evening on October 13.
Manager Gordon Swan is looking for someone to put on a fashion show with clothes from the era and commentary.
He also wants to hear from people with memories and pictures of the 1940s.
The event will raise money for military charities including the Wings Appeal.
There will also be military vehicles, music and stalls.
