Braintree: Learn how to save a life
Learn life-saving skills at free sessions taking place as part of a St John Ambulance campaign.
The first aid charity is holding the demonstrations to teach basic skills that can be the difference between a life lost and life saved.
During the ‘Save A Life September’ campaign last year, more than 70,000 people across the UK received free first aid guides as part of the initiative.
At the demonstrations, people will be able to learn how to save a life using five easy to follow techniques and will also receive a free pocket-sized guide to carry in case of emergency.
Braintree Library in Fairfield Road will host one on September 15, at 10am-1pm, while another will take place at George Yard Shopping Centre on October 6 at 9.30am- 5pm.
