Braintree: Youngsters enjoy pirates and princesses day
Youngsters got the chance to dress up as pirates and princesses for the day at a nursery near Dunmow.
Patricia Pilgrim Nursery, in Saling Road, Stebbing Green, had a Pirate and Princess Day last Thursday, August 23.
Children worked together to build a fort with large cardboard boxes, made jewellery and went magnetic fishing.
They had a special lunch, which was made to look like cannon balls and worms, with sparkly princess jelly for dessert.
The youngsters also went on a picture trail treasure hunt, which ended with the children finding a treasure chest full of chocolate gold coins.
