If you have ever admired the black and white Tudor house on Bridge Street in Witham now’s your chance to see inside.
The Grade II listed building, which dates back to the 16th century, is an historical landmark within Witham.
It will be open as part of Heritage Open Days on September 8 and 9 from 12pm until 5pm.
On Saturday, September 8 at 2pm, the Witham and Countryside Society will take a guided walk along Newland Street in Witham, leaving from Tudor House in Bridge Street.
In Kelvedon, the restored Packhorse Bridge will be open from 12pm till 5pm on September 8 and 9, giving visitors a chance to find out more about the local and transport history.
Feering and Kelvedon Local History Museum will be open from 9.30am to 12pm and 1pm to 4.30pm on the Saturday and 1pm to 4.30pm on the Sunday with displays on local Jubilee celebrations from Queen Victoria until today and a children’s quiz.
