Witham: Sports clubs host second beer festival

Beer and cricket went down a treat at a beer festival organised by two sports clubs.
Witham’s cricket and hockey clubs held the three-day event at Maldon Road Park.
More than 30 beers and ciders from across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk were available to tickle the tastebuds.
Profits will be used towards maintenance of the sports pavilion in Maldon Road Park, which is shared by the two clubs.
