Witham: Update: Four bailed following police drugs raids

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a number of suspected illegal drugs, cash and offensive weapons in mid-Essex.

Officers executed search warrants during raids at residential properties on Thursday, August 9 in the Braintree district.

Two 20-year-old men were arrested at a property on Woodland Close in Hatfield Peverel and later released on police bail until Sunday, November 4, pending further enquiries.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at a property on Howbridge Road in Witham and later released on police bail also until Sunday, November 4, pending further enquiries.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested at a property on St Andrews Road in Hatfield Peverel and received a caution after admitting a public order offence.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at the same property on St Andrews Road in Hatfield Peverel and received a caution after admitting to being in possession of cannabis.
