Braintree: Campaign to save pharmacy from relocation

The pharmacy
Patients are petitioning to save a pharmacy from closure.
Staff at Lloyds Pharmacy in Great Square, Braintree, have been told it will relocate to Morrisons supermarket in Rayne Road.
Neither Lloyds nor Morrisons would confirm the move.
But patients have set up a petition to keep the pharmacy in Great Square and it has been placed in several businesses and surgeries.
Locations for the petition include Esquire barbers, Braintree and Bocking Constitutional Club, Blandford Medical Centre in Mace Avenue and St Lawrence Medical Centre in Bocking End.

Say I am a business owner and I need to relocate because the premises I lease are too expensive, the (foot) traffic too light, the profit margins therefore are unsustainable, do you really think that a petition can make me change my mind?
People are too naive and simplistic thinking that a business will stay simply because some folk want it there and can't be arsed to walk to Morrisons!
Get real, people and get with it - you've lost the plot. Welcome to the real world of the 21st century. Move on or be tramped upon.
