Pupils were invited to the House of Lords to talk about the benefits of using iPads at school.
Cameron Harbison and Hannah Masterman, both 12, attended a reception hosted by Lord Willis of Knaresborough to launch the Tablets for Schools programme last week.
The pair from Kelvedon gave short speeches about how the computers have benefited youngsters at Honywood Community Science School in Coggeshall.
All pupils were given the Apple computers in May last year and Honywood was among three schools using them to be studied as part of Tablets for Schools.
