Singing stars of the future have been working hard in rehearsals ahead of their first ever public performance.
Following the huge success of Witham’s Big Sing, organisers have launched the Little Sing, which met for the first time on Friday.
Enthusiastic children aged between five and 12 years old attended the rehearsals.
Big Sing co-founder Gemma Rattenbury said: “It all went really well and we had about 30 kids come along.
“They have started learning their songs for the Big Sing concert that takes place in March.
“We learned Heal The World by Michael Jackson and a Katy Perry song too.
“There was lots of enthusiasm and we are looking to make lots of progress ahead of the big concert in eight weeks time.
“We’ve had a great response from all the parents, who have told me that the kids have been getting on their nerves all weekend practising their singing!”
* Tickets are selling fast for the Big Sing concert at Witham Public Hall on March 31, starting at 7.30pm.
To book your place, call the hall on 0845 017 8717.
