Villagers in Stisted are already planning how to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style.
Festivities on June 5 will include arts, crafts and poetry competitions.
The poetry contest will be judged by royal biographer and former Stisted resident Andrew Morton, with the winning entry being sent to the Queen.
Other events on the day will include a funfair, stalls, fancy dress and a display from a local motorbike club.
Every school child in the village will be presented with a commemorative mug to celebrate the Jubilee.
