Villagers delved into their dark past for their first witch trail.
Creative residents in Stisted got to work on more than 40 cackling good displays.
Naughty children and adults could try out the stocks or have their photo taken beside a wall featuring witches, pumpkin heads and cats.
And real witches wandered around the village answering questions about their faith.
The village tea room, Onley Arms pub, Montefiore Institute and Cherry Lane Garden Centre also supported the day.
All money raised from the trail will go towards a village party to celebrate the Queen’s jubilee next year.
