A reward is being offered for the return of a cat trap, which was taken from outside a vets in Braintree.
It was left outside Millennium Veterinary Practice in Millennium Way on Saturday after a nine-year-old black and white cat escaped from its owners in the car park.
The device was provided by Fight Animal Cruelty Everywhere (FACE) and is mainly used to catch feral and stray cats.
FACE spokesman Linda Thacker said anyone with information should contact her on 01621 779385.
