A nurse has set up a pioneering support group for women with cervical cancer.
Emma Elliott, from Witham, is behind the first group of its kind for patients in London and the south east.
The mum-of-one, a nurse specialist at London’s University College Hospital, as been trained by Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, the only dedicated UK charity for women and relatives affected by cervical abnormalities and cervical cancer.
The support group will meet at the University College Hospital once a month on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm.
