Vintage cars, brass bands, maypole dancing and a duck race were all part of the village fayre celebrations.
Hundreds of people gathered to take in the Bocking Village Fayre which included the crowning of the may day Queen, a fun run and children’s disco and magic show.
Thousands of pounds were raised for local churches and schools at this year’s event.
Chairman of the organising committee David Vann said: “It was very good and an excellent day all round.
“It was a great turn out by everybody and the weather was great which makes all the difference.
“As always the event was a great success.”
