Stansted Airport must be sold according to the latest ruling of the UK’s competition watchdog.
The Competition Commission said it stood by its original decision that airport operator BAA should sell the west Essex airport and either Glasgow or Edinburgh following a review of its 2009 verdict.
Since then BAA has challenged the ruling, which ended with the regulator’s findings being upheld.
BAA has already sold Gatwick for £1.5bn.
