Police have revealed the identity of a cyclist who died following a road crash.
Nicholas Cherrill, 57, of Boreham Road, Great Leighs, died at the scene after a crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa.
The collision happened yesterday at about 9am on on Main Road in Ford End, near the B1417 junction for Felsted.
The 18-year-old driver has been released on bail until tomorrow after having been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He comes from the Great Dunmow area.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen the collision to the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0300 333 4444.
