Runners young and old pounded the ground to raise cash for people with terminal and life threatening illnesses.
Farleigh Hospice organised its second ladies-only Sunrise Walk and its first Lads ānā Dads Dash at Great Notley Country Park on Sunday.
Starting at dawn, the ladies walked an 18km circular route which started and finished in the grounds of the park, while at lunchtime the men and boys did a 5km run.
