A grieving couple are appealing for thieves to return a memorial statue of their teenage daughter, who was killed in a car crash.
Camilla Hamilton, 15, died in June 2003 when the Mercedes she was in, driven by a girl also aged 15, crashed in Pebmarsh.
The youngster from Littley Green was a successful hockey player and a pupil at Felsted School, where the statue stood until it was discovered missing on Thursday morning.
Camilla's father David Hamilton said he and his wife Janice were "absolutely devastated and numb with shock" over the theft.
