Bobby Moore's aunt becomes centenarian

Bobby Moore's aunt has turned 100.

Georgina Herbert, whose nephew was the legendary England Captain who played in the 1966 World Cup, threw a party to celebrate her big day on Sunday.

Mrs Herbert, who resides at St Dominics Residential Home in Kelvedon, has lots of pictures and mementoes of her nephew’s career.

Jean Dolmor, the home manager, said: ”When Georgina is asked about Bobby Moore and that match, she can give a minute by minute account of the game and what happened straight afterwards and how the players were treated.”

Mrs Herber was born on February 7, 1910, in Bromley, East London.
