Braintree cake firm moves to Witham

A subsidiary of a world renowned firm has moved to Witham.

Last week Raven Patisserie moved into The Olympic Building in Crittall Road.

The company is a subsidiary of Wilkin & Sons Limited - whose jams and preserves are sold all over the world.

Raven Patisserie started out in 2005 when two companies merged.

The move gave the business opportunity for substantial growth in the food market and quickly moved to larger premises in Braintree in 2006. There the management team developed the business to supply quality patisserie and café products to such an extent that it needed to find a larger site.

On January 25 the firm moved in at the Crittall Road site.
