A WOMAN has been robbed after a man stopped her, asking for directions.
The 28 year old Witham resident was in Tesco car park, Witham, when it happened at about 12.30pm on Monday.
Police are linking the offence to another distraction robbery which happened in Halstead on Friday.
In both cases, the thief was described as a stocky Asian men, and both times he stole credit cards in or outside supermarkets from women.
