SEVEN people have been arrested on suspicion handling stolen goods and of drugs-related offences.
Police searched properties in Halstead, Braintree and Witham as part of Operation Bluebell – an initiative targeting burglars.
Three 24-year-old men and a 33-year-old man, all from Braintree, were arrested on suspicion of drugs-related offences at Mardys pub in Market Place, Braintree.
They were all bailed without charge until next year pending further enquiries.
A 23-year-old man from Braintree has been bailed until Christmas Eve after he was arrested in Bartram Avenue, Braintree in connection with handling stolen goods.
A 22-year-old man from Braintree, arrested at a house in Vanguard Way, Braintree in connection with handling stolen goods, has been bailed until March 16.
A 25-year-old man from Chelmsford was cautioned in Maldon Road, Witham for possession of a Class A drug.
Warnings were handed to two men, aged 23 and 25, for possession of cannabis at a home in Allectus Way, Witham.
