Superheroes exhibition is to come to Braintree

Superheroes are coming to Braintree.

A new exhibition starting at Braintree District Museum next month will tell the history of comic book superheroes in comic book style.

Collectors are being asked to come forward with items for inclusion, as currently there are no objects - there is just the information and interactives.

Claire Willetts, museum collections manager, said: “Many people collect comics and are interested in our well-known superheroes, from Spiderman to Manga’s Sailor Moon.

“We are looking for local collectors to lend comics, figures or memorabilia for our new exhibition that opens in January.

“If you would like to get involved, please get in touch.”

•The exhibition runs from January 9 until March 23.

It costs £3 for adults and children are free.

The Manor Street museum is open Monday to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
