Don't miss the chance to support hard working gardener John Morris.
Mr Morris is Braintree Council’s gardener and landscaper, who has been keeping Witham Cemetery tidy since 1970.
He was featured in the Times in May as he is in the running for a Lifetime Service Award in the Council Worker of the Year Awards.
Mr Morris was nominated for the national award by Braintree Council for 40 years of outstanding service.
He maintains the two-hectare cemetery, which is home to more than 2,000 graves, on his own.
Mr Morris, 57, lives with his wife in Poplar Close, Witham, and said he could not imagine himself doing anything other than tending to the Manor Road cemetery.
The deadline for voting is on Thursday.
To vote online visit: www.localgovernmentchannel.com/awards or www.braintree.gov.uk or text: LGATV 10 JohnM to 80039 (standard network charge applies).
