Village Hall
Last Saturday evening many village families enjoyed a lively Christmas disco in the village hall.
DJ Night Train provided the music and the committee manned the bar and supplied the nibbles.
On December 18, at 7pm, the committee is hosting a free Christmas concert, aided by Bocking Brass Band in the hall.
All residents are invited to join in the singalong and enjoy mince pies and mulled wine.
Parish Council
Residents are urged to support the parish council’s efforts to secure Essex County Council funding for the maintenance of Stoneley Park before it is leased to the village.
Letters should be sent to Nicola Beach, Waste and Recycling Management, Market Road, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1LX, outlining objections to the costs being met by residents.
