More than 40 people enjoyed a three-course dinner to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the church.
Graham Kemp organised a musical quiz, based on the old radio show Family Favourites, and during the break Alan Hale thanked everyone who had helped to make the evening a success.
After the raffle draw, Graham continued with a quiz on modern musicals, followed by reminiscences about the old church, which is now an Indian restaurant.
