A POPULAR pizza chain has finally opened its new takeaway after a three-month delay.

Domino’s Pizza has opened at The Square, Great Notley, 98 days after its intended launch.

The original date in late November was postponed due to circumstances "out of their control".

Now, the takeaway giant is bringing 25 new jobs to Great Notley, including pizza chefs, in-store team members, and delivery drivers.

Many of its freshly prepared favourites will be available at the new branch, including Pepperoni Passion and the Vegi Supreme.

Ricky Kandola, operations director at SK Group, said: “We’re excited to come to the village of Great Notley, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

“We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Great Notley can grow and develop their careers.

“Over 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

To celebrate the opening, a launch event was held on Monday where residents were invited to meet the team and taste some pizza.

The Great Notley branch is open frim 11am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday, with Sundays closing at 10pm.

For a limited time, customers an get a small pizza for £8, medium pizza for £10 and large pizza for £12 via delivery.
