A BRAND NEW travel agency is preparing to open its doors in Witham.

Vaycay Luxury Travel, in Newland Street, is set to open next Thursday (January 4) and promises to provide its customers with an “unrivalled experience” with a Champagne welcome to start every travel consultation.

The company says its extensive database of getaways could see travel fans sailing away on a luxurious cruise, taking a safari in the Kenyan desert, uncovering hidden gems for a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and everything in between.

It has been set up by husband-and-wife team Colin Pegler, chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation in the UK and Europe, and Paula Whitehead, who previously worked in a senior role for British Airways.

Travel consultant Christine Taylor-Higgs has joined the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her previous role at a tour operator where she focussed on weddings and honeymoons, and roles at two Caribbean tourist boards.

“Along with my highly experienced colleague Jo, we are so excited to help make our customers' travel dreams come true,” she said.

Christine and Jo are already busy helping holidaymakers before the agency’s official launch and can be contacted by calling 01245 207649 or by emailing sales@vaycayholidays.com.
