A SINGER is hitting all the high notes as his debut album has hit one million streams on Spotify.

Braintree artist Ian Pont’s debut album, Not Sure Yet, has seen major success after it hit the huge milestone on the global music streaming service.

Ian’s “unique blend of soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating vocals” have resonated with listeners worldwide, propelling his music to new heights.

With tracks that delve into the depths of human emotions, his songs have struck a chord with fans, transcending geographical boundaries and cultural barriers.

Ian, who is also the frontman for the UK’s leading Spandau Ballet Tribute called Spandau Too, has unwavering support from a dedicated fanbase both in Braintree and across the globe.

Released under the esteemed banner of Uniq Recording Artists, Not Sure Yet is described as a “musical journey that is beautifully woven into each track”.

From soulful ballads to soaring anthems, the album showcases Pont’s top versatility.

“We are immensely proud of Ian Pont and his incredible achievement”, said Uniq Recording Artists’ chief executive Bob Patmore.

“Crossing the one million streams milestone on Spotify is a testament to his talent and the universal appeal of his music.

“Ian's success also highlights the rich pool of musical talent out there, often undiscovered, reaffirming our belief in the incredible potential of our local artists."

Ian’s previous release of a James Bond-style track called Dying Like Tomorrow earlier this year has achieved more than 225,000 listens.

His growth has been helped by BBC radio upload plays and a US radio station adding his music to their digital catalogue.

On the achievement of one million streams, Ian was left delighted, and thanked all of his supporters for helping him achieve his dream.

He said: “I am deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support I have received from everyone.

“Crossing the one million Spotify streams mark is a dream come true, and it motivates me to continue creating music that resonates with people on a profound level.

“I am truly honoured to have such incredible listeners who connect with my music.”
