A man has been charged and is due to appear in court today following an incident in Saffron Walden.
Dinesh Luchmun, 25, of Brodia Road, London, has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge follows an incident in Saffron Walden on Wednesday, May 3, where two men sustained serious injuries.
Officers were called to Little Walden Road at around 7.30pm following reports that a man had been assaulted.
One man is hospital but his condition is not believed to be life-threatening, while another man has since been discharged.
A 27-year-old man, from Ilford, and a 34-year-old man, from Saffron Walden, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and have since been released on bail until July 3.
A 17-year-old teenager arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has also been bailed until July 3.
