DELAYS are expected as traffic is building following an accident on a busy road in the centre of town.
Witnesses have reported seeing a pedestrian who was believed to have been involved in a collision with a vehicle in Braintree.
London Road is said to be blocked and traffic is heavy around the centre of Braintree as a result.

Multiple emergency service vehicles are pictured at the scene.
A spokesman for Essex Highways said: "London Road is blocked by an accident just south of the junction with Clare Road and Pierrefitte Way."
Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
