A DRIVER has been heavily fined and given penalty points after driving over 100mph.
Andrew Percy, of Braintree Road, in Dunmow, was caught by a speed camera on the M25, in Epping last August.
He was registered to be driving a Porsche 911 Carrera driving 103mph. The limit was 70mph.
When appearing in Basildon Magistrates’ Court last month, he was convicted of the speeding charges.
The 56-year-old was fined £440, and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge, as well as £90 in court costs.
Percy was also given six penalty points on his driver’s licence. When drivers reach 12 points, an automatic driving ban is issued.
