These adorable chicks are the latest fluffy animal to welcome visitors to a popular tourist attraction.

The newborns will be available to see at Mountfitchet Castle, in Stansted, throughout the upcoming Easter break and will be helping the little ones hunt down their Easter eggs.

A spokesman said: "It's no yolk folks, some spring chicks at Mountfitchet Castle have hatched out just in time to meet our visitors joining in our Free Egg Hunt which starts this Saturday and then runs everyday throughout the Easter holidays.

"We also have the marvellous Jon Marshalls famous Flea Circus here on Tuesday 9th April plus we will be firing our famous full-size Perrier catapult every day."

Mountfitchet Castle is also home to the kind-hearted Fred the Labrador, who shot to stardom last spring after he became an unlikely guardian to a group of young ducks.
