Hungry shoppers are rejoicing after Greggs in Braintree reopened.
The hugely popular town centre shop was closed this morning (March 1) with a sign on the door reading 'closed until further notice'.
Customers were facing a 16 mile round trip to the next nearest Greggs in Newland Street, Witham, to get their fix.
It is believed a shortage of staff was to blame.
The store will close at 4pm today (March 1).
Greggs has been contacted for comment.
