A man from Hatfield Peverel has been convicted following Essex Police's anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
Pearce Bolger, 31, of Garden Field, was arrested at 11.49pm on July 14 in The Avenue, Brentwood.
He was disqualified for 12 months, fined £750 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £75 victim surcharge for drink driving.
A total of 205 people were arrested during the Drive Safe Drive Sober summer campaign, which highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving.
