AN amateur drama group will hold open auditions next month as it begins to prepare for its next pantomime.
Pantoloons is inviting people who are aged 16 and over and are interested in being involved, either on or off stage, to take part in the auditions.
The pantomime, which will be performed during the February half-term next year, will be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by James Barry.
Pantoloons have put on a traditional pantomime in Braintree every year since 1983 and aim to keep ticket prices affordable by the production top-class.
The first script read through will take place at The Old School Rooms, in Rayne, on Tuesday, September 18 and will run from 7.30pm until 10pm.
The first auditions are in Rayne on September 25 and at the Archer Community Centre in East Street, Braintree, on September 27.
The show will take place from February 16 until February 23 at the Braintree Arts Theatre.
