Young Scouts spent a week at a campsite on the island of Jersey.
The First Silver End group returned home on Saturday after the annual summer camp activity.
Staying at the Jersey Scout Centre, which is next to the beach, youngsters took part in a host of activities.
Assistant scout leader Phil Kilburn said: “The less extreme activities included crazy golf, laser clay pigeon shooting and a walk up the hill to see some of the Second World War German fortifications and watch the sun set over the sea.
“While on the island, they also visit the Durrell zoo to learn about its conservation work, went to the war tunnels to learn about the occupation and had a round island guided coach tour to see the best sights in Jersey.
“A large amount of Jersey ice cream was obviously consumed during the stay too.”
The more daring activities included a morning of coasteering, jumping off rocks around the coast into the sea and a high speed ride around the coast in an inflatable boat.
