SAMMY Moore says Concord Rangers’ players ‘put their bodies on the line’ to get three points at Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday.

Jack Midson scored his first goal for the club to secure a second win of the season and maintain Moore’s unbeaten record in charge after three matches.

And the Beach Boys chief sang the praises of his team at the final whistle.

“It was an even first half but I am so pleased we got on the end of a set-piece to score,” he said.

“In the second half it was backs against the wall at times but we saw it out. Dulwich pass the ball well and not many teams will come here and get a result.

“We put our bodies on a line and wanted the points more.”

Moore also lauded the away support, which continues to swell under the new regime.

“As a player you want to feel the support,” he said. “These fans demand hard work and as long as you give it a go you will get clapped off. The support from last year has gone up and positive results will continue to bring in more fans.”

Midson’s goal on the half hour lifts Concord up to fourth in the National League South standings.
